Father's Day and Graduation

This post is kind of a combined tribute to my Dad for Father's Day and to my little (or not so little) brother who recently graduated and is soon to head off to college and then on to his mission.  Mason's spent a lifetime being told that he's just like dad.  And I think that's a good guy to be like.  :)  I was recently listening to Brad Paisley's "If He's Anything Like Me" and it made me think of both of them.  So I thought I'd share it.  :)

"He's gonna love me
And hate me along the way
The years are gonna fly by
And I already dread the day

He's gonna hug his mama, he's gonna shake my hand
He's gonna act like he can't wait to leave

But as he drives out he'll cry his eyes out
If he's anything like me
There's worst folks to be like, oh, he'll be alright
If he's anything like me"

Happy Father's Day Dad!!

And Happy (late) Graduation Mason!!

To Celebrate Valentines Day

I've been listening to my "Silly Love Songs" playlist.  Classics from Boys Like Girls, The Beatles, T. Swift, Hairspray, Rascal Flatts, and Alex Goot. And I ate sugar cookies, watched movies, looked at the book "Pawnee" from Parks and Recreation, gave away Valentines "Elementary School Style", and ate Stephen Colbert's Americone Dream Ice Cream.  That's all my idea of a great Valentines.

Hope you had an amazing Valentines Day!

Life Lately According To Me And My IPod

Free Skull Candy Headphones . . .  The perks of going to treatments at a cancer center.  :)

First Day Of Snow

Yes, I know that gratitude is spelled wrong, my roommate insisted on writing the sign, and I didn't have the heart to correct her spelling...

November Tradition . . . The Gratitude Wall :)

In other news, I was very sad to hear the sad news about Poor Old Juniper Hall.  So many good memories from freshman year there.

Happy 4th of July

This is one of my favorite songs and it goes with the 4th of July theme.  Enjoy.
