What do you do when an opportunity comes up that you weren't expecting and you're not sure if you want to take it or not? There is always the possibility of something better coming up if you take the opportunity. Or you could turn down the opportunity and nothing better could come up. Or you could take the opportunity and nothing better could come up. Or you could turn down the opportunity and something better could turn up. But at this point you just don't know. It's times like these that make you wish that you could see the future in a crystal ball. Not even all of it, just enough of a glimpse to help you to know what you should do.
I think I've got a lot of praying, fasting, thinking, and deciding to do.
It's gonna be a long week.
"Desire's dictate our priorities, priorities shape our choices, and choices determine our actions. The desires we act on determine our changing, our achieving, and our becoming."

Complicated Random Ramblings
Sometimes I wonder why life has to be so complicated. But I guess I know why. Sometimes I just wish that I got a straight answer from my prayers. That's not usually how it works for me, but it would be nice if that was how it worked. Somethings that I am doing in my life feel so right, but at the same time I have no idea where it's going to lead me or how it's all going to work out. I guess that's where faith comes into play. I know where I want to go, I just don't quite know how to get there. I'm a "big picture" person not a "detail" person. My roommates and I have been studying about Lot's wife and how the real problem for her was that she wanted to stay in the past. And I think to a degree that's true for all of us. It comes down to having the faith to believe that Heavenly Father has better things planned for me in the future, even though the past and the present is pretty good.
