Dear Zombies Occupying Wall Street:

I can't put my thoughts on the zombies occupying wall street (and salt lake as of today) any better than the Beatles did in their song "Revolution". So here's the lyrics (which I don't own.)

You say you want a revolution
Well you know
We all want to change the world
You tell me that its evolution
Well you know
We all want to change the world

*********

You say you got a real solution
We all want to see the plan
You ask me for a contribution
Well you know
We're all doing what we can

*********

(for the tea party, just for fun)
You say you'll change the constitution
Well you know
We'd all love to change your head

*********

Don't you know it's gonna be alright

Basically I don't think zombie occupation is going to help anything.  I don't even think it's addressing the real problem. In the words of Forest Gump:

That's all I have to say about that.

My Dear Husband,

It's true, I'm not married, yet, but I have seen cute letters to future husbands here and I thought I would try it, especially because she won't be writing letters to a future husband anymore.  :)

Dear Husband,

I hope you know I'm a hopeless romantic.

I love rainstorms, I think they are so romantic.  If I ever text you this "Drop everything now. Meet me in the pouring rain, Kiss me on the sidewalk, Take away the pain." and it's raining, please do just that.  I know it's corney, but it's also cute (in my opinion) and that will make me so happy. (And yes that is from a Taylor Swift song.  Have I mentioned I'm a hopeless romantic?)

I love little kid movies like The Lion King and Tangled and Up and How to Train Your Dragon and Finding Nemo.  We will be watching those on a regular basis.  (I'll let you off the hook for my favorite chick flicks like Pride and Prejudice and How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days. I may even let you off the hook for my cute but really old classic movies.  Maybe.)

I like to sing and dance.  I sing really loudly and badly and I dance really silly.  I hope you will sing and dance and make a fool out of yourself with me.

Sometimes I'm really sarcastic and I don't like being wrong.  I apologize in advance.

I love food, I love to cook, but I hate doing the dishes.  I hope you like to eat and do dishes.  :)

Sometimes I just have to have ice cream.  It's not a want, it's a need.

That's All!

Love,

You're darling future wife!

:)

The Lost Art Of Letter Writing

I have this old shoe box that is filled with letters and cards that I have received over the years.  Most of them are from when I first moved away from my friends and extended family when I was twelve years old.  It was so much fun to read those letters.  It's so much fun to receive letters.  It's sad because no one writes them anymore (me included.)  But there is something so different about letters that is different then a facebook post, a blog post, or an email.   Letters just seem so much more elegant and thoughtful and meaningful.  I want to start writing letters again.  It's a lost art that needs to be brought back.
